I am back from my travels!…which means lots of new goodies coming up on drosengarten.com…

Carnal Knowledge, in the Extreme
My trip to New England wasn’t all seafood…and the non-piscatory trend was supported by a surprise trip to Texas. It all resulted, surprisingly, in The Beefiest Week of My Life–with nearly obscene photos that will serve as a perfect catharsis for you, should you prefer to stick to salad this week!
Thursday, August 9, Rosengarten Classic:
Feeling Lao? Or Laos-y? Pick Yourself Up with a Green Papaya Salad from Southeast Asia!
When I visited Laos three years ago, (they say “Lao,” like “now,” but with an L) I brought back this killer green papaya salad, spicy and acid and a little sweet, pounded in a mortar to extreme complexity. You must try!
Friday, August 10, New Video:
Your Great-Grandma’s Lemonade
Could this frosty pitcher be more 1912? As the Dog Days wind down…watch me make a gorgeously real, insanely refreshing pitcher of the good ol’ stuff.
Sunday, August 12, My 5:
My 5 Favorite Off-Beat Food Cities in Europe

But, with a little late-summer travel time remaining for me and you both, I thought you’d like to get my take on five great eatin’ cities that are off the eaten pathI Thinner crowds…but no less spectacular food!
